Stitching Up a Storm

Katie just moved into an adorable new apartment in Russian Hill, which gave us the perfect excuse for an crazy ambitious, late night craft project–pillow making. After discussing 3, 506 color/texture/pattern combination at Britex Fabrics (one can't just turn an art director brain off), Katie swiped her credit card, and we were committed.

Despite it being her virgin voyage with her sewing machine (even though she's owned it for four years), Katie and the machine preformed beautifully.

Sew a girl a pillow and she'll sleep well for a night. Teach a girl to sew and she'll sleep well for a lifetime. Or, until she finds new fabric she likes even better.

RIP Tostitos HOJ

It's a happy day for Mexico, but quite a sad moment for our Cinco de Mayo Facebook application. When the product died, so did the work. Sorta makes sense, I guess. Had Tostitos Hint of JalapeƱo Scoops taken a different course, we'd all be inviting our friends to join our rockin' mariachi bands today. But alas, we'll just have to download "La Bumba" from iTunes and toast a Corona to our fallen fiesta friends.

The New and Improved gotmilk.com is LIVE

It's gestation has been as long as that of a human fetus, but finally, after nine long months, the gotmilk.com redesign is done. The new site will not only teach you about the health benefits of milk, but also show you how to recycle your empty cartons into Carton Crafts once you've chug-a-lugged. Therefore, it only made sense to launch it today, Earth Day. Thanks to Unit 9 for working their little British tails off to make this beast of a project come together.

Here's what it used to look like:

Here's a peek at the work in progress:

And drumroll...here it is now:

Lovebirds!

We've finished a new DIY lovebirds pattern for the Frito-Lay Dips site we just launched, www.MadeForEachOther.com.

To date, we've cut, sewn, stuffed and stitched 4.5 pairs of lovebirds (yes, sadly there's a lonely lovebird out there.) We have a few here in our office and the rest we let migrate south to our clients in TX.

What's more "Made For Each Other" than a pair of lovebirds? A family of lovebirds.
